Trinidad is a city located in the department of Flores, in southern Uruguay.
It is located about 210 km north of Montevideo and about 110 km east of Colonia del Sacramento. The city was founded in 1800 and is known for its rich history and its beautiful squares and parks.
Among the tourist attractions of Trinidad is the Mancebo Park, where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Yí River, the Museum of Memory and the Casa Quiroga Museum.
It is also an ideal place for those interested in rural tourism and agricultural production, since it is located in an area with an important production of wool and sheep meat.
To get to Trinidad you can take a bus from Montevideo or Colonia del Sacramento, or by car through National Route 3.
