World Heritage sites in Uruguay

In Uruguay there are three icons of the country that have been declared "World Heritage" by UNESCO. It is the historic center of the city of Colonia del Sacramento, the Candombe and Tango.

Currently Uruguay has presented - to join the list of "World Heritage Site by UNESCO" - the Legislative Palace, the area Chamangá cave paintings, and the cultural landscape of Fray Bentos.
