Treinta y Tres is a city located in the department of the same name, in eastern Uruguay, near the border with Brazil.
It is located about 270 kilometers east of Montevideo and about 130 kilometers north of the Brazilian city of Jaguarão.
The city is located in a rural area surrounded by hills and natural landscapes, and is crossed by the Yerbal stream.
National highway number 8 and route 19 are the main access roads to the city.
