How to get to San Carlos
San Carlos is a city in the department of Maldonado, located about 150 km east of Montevideo.
If you want to arrive by car, you can take National Route 9 from Montevideo and then take Route 39 until you reach San Carlos.
You can also take the Interbalnearia Route from Montevideo, then Route 93 and finally Route 9 until you reach San Carlos.
If you prefer to travel by bus, there are several companies that offer services from Montevideo and other major cities in Uruguay to San Carlos.
