Location of Rivera

Rivera is a city located in the north of Uruguay, on the border with Brazil.

It is located about 500 km from Montevideo and is the capital of the department of Rivera.

The city is located at the confluence of the Cuareim and Cuaró rivers, which makes it an important transit point for the traffic of goods and people between Uruguay and Brazil.
