Tourism in Rivera

Rivera is a city located in the north of Uruguay, on the border with Brazil. It is the capital of the homonymous department and is known for being the main commercial center of the northern region of the country.

The city has a wide range of services and is an important connection point between Uruguay and Brazil.

Among the tourist attractions of Rivera is the International Square, a place where you can see the union of the cities of Rivera and Santana do Livramento (Brazil) through an arch that marks the division between both countries.
The Great Britain Park also stands out, a green space with various activities for the whole family.

In addition, the city has several museums, such as the Museo de la Frontera, which shows the history of the region; the Rivera Regional Museum, which exhibits local culture; and the Railway Museum, which presents the history of trains in Uruguay.
