To get to Las Piedras, you can take a bus or car from Montevideo, the capital of Uruguay, since the city is located about 27 km east of the capital. The most direct route is Route 5, which connects Montevideo with the city of Florida, and then Route 11 is taken to Las Piedras.
It is also possible to get to Las Piedras by plane, through the Carrasco International Airport in Montevideo, and then continue by car or public transport.
Once in Las Piedras, the town center is quite compact and can be explored on foot. To visit other areas outside the center, it is recommended to rent a car or take a taxi or local bus.
