How to get to Florida
To get to Florida from Montevideo, you can take Route 5 in a northerly direction, which connects with the city. It can also be reached by bus, since the city has a bus terminal that connects with different parts of the country.
From other nearby cities such as Durazno, it can also be reached via Route 5 in a southerly direction.
In addition, Florida has a small airport located 10 km northeast of the city, but it is mainly used for private aviation and spraying flights. The closest commercial airport is the Carrasco International Airport in Montevideo.
