The city of Rocha is located on the east coast of Uruguay, in the department of Rocha.
It is located about 200 kilometers east of the country's capital, Montevideo, and about 100 kilometers south of the border with Brazil.
The city is located on the right bank of the Rocha stream, which flows into the Atlantic Ocean.
