Punta del Diablo is a small fishing village located on the east coast of Uruguay, about 298 km northeast of Montevideo, near the border with Brazil.
It is located in the department of Rocha, about 45 km north of the city of Chuy, which is the main border city with Brazil.
The location of Punta del Diablo is unique, surrounded by beaches, forests and sand dunes.
The town sits on the Punta del Diablo peninsula, jutting out into the Atlantic Ocean, and is surrounded by white-sand beaches and rocky cliffs. Punta del Diablo's main beach, Playa de la Viuda, is located in the center of town and is popular with tourists for its natural beauty and relaxed atmosphere.
