To get to Paysandú from Montevideo, the capital of Uruguay, you can take a bus from the Tres Cruces terminal, which takes around 5 hours.
It can also be reached by car by taking National Route 1 to the west and then National Route 3 to the north, a journey that takes around 4 hours.
From other cities in the country and the region, there are also bus and train services available.
Paysandú Brigadier General Cesáreo L. Berisso International Airport is located about 15 km from the city center and offers regular flights to Buenos Aires and other cities in the region.
