How to get to Pan de Azucar

There are many options to get to Pan de Azúcar in Uruguay:

By car: The most common way to get to Pan de Azúcar is by car. From Montevideo, you must take the Interbalnearia Route to Route 9, which leads directly to Pan de Azúcar. The trip takes approximately 2 and a half hours. From Punta del Este, take Route 12 and then Route 60 until you reach the city.

By bus: Another option is to take a bus from Montevideo, Punta del Este or other nearby cities. Several transport companies offer regular services to Pan de Azúcar, including COT, Rutas del Sol and COPSA.

By taxi or remise: You can also get there by taxi or remise from Montevideo or Punta del Este. It is a more expensive option than the bus, but it can be more convenient if you are traveling in a group or with a lot of luggage.
