How to get to Minas

There are several options to get to Minas

By plane: If you come from outside the country, the closest airport to Minas is the Carrasco International Airport in Montevideo. From there you can take a taxi or a bus to the Tres Cruces Terminal in Montevideo, and there take a bus to Minas.

By bus: If you are in Montevideo, you can take a bus at the Tres Cruces Terminal to Minas. There are several bus companies that offer this service, such as COT, Rutas del Sol, and Turismar, among others. The journey takes approximately 2 and a half hours.

By car: If you have your own vehicle, you can get to Minas from Montevideo following national route 8, which crosses a large part of the country. The journey takes around 2.5 hours and is highly recommended if you want to enjoy beautiful natural landscapes along the way.
