Las Cañas is a Uruguayan town located in the department of Río Negro, on the west coast of the country.
It is located about 30 kilometers north of Fray Bentos and about 60 kilometers south of Paysandú.
The area is known for its natural beauty and is located on the banks of the Uruguay River, with white sand beaches and crystal clear waters surrounded by forests.
It is also close to the Esteros de Farrapos e Islas del Río Uruguay National Park.
