Location of El Pinar

El Pinar is a seaside resort located on the southern coast of Uruguay, in the department of Canelones, about 25 km from the capital city, Montevideo. It limits to the east with the Pando stream, to the south with the Las Toscas spa and to the west with the Solymar spa.

The town is located in a wooded area and has a wide white sand beach with dunes and cliffs. In addition, it has a natural lagoon surrounded by forests and a great variety of native flora and fauna.

The proximity to Montevideo and good road and public transport connectivity make El Pinar a popular tourist destination for Montevideans and visitors from other parts of the country.
