Overview of El Pinar
El Pinar is a Uruguayan resort located on the Rio de la Plata, in the department of Canelones, boundary with the department of Montevideo.
Integrates the coastal strip of resorts now known as Ciudad de la Costa.
Coast City is formed by the line of spas, ranging from San José de Carrasco eastward to El Pinar, whose limit is the Arroyo Pando.
Its population grew 198.4% in the period between 1985-1996.
