Cuchilla Alta is a small town located in the department of Rivera, in the north of Uruguay. Being a rural area, the most common way to get there is by private vehicle, either your own or rented.
From Montevideo, you must take the Interbalnearia Route until the junction with Route 30, which leads directly to Cuchilla Alta. The journey is approximately 480 kilometers and takes around 6 hours by car.
It is also possible to arrive by bus from Montevideo, although schedules and frequencies may be limited. The transport companies that arrive at Cuchilla Alta are Turil and Cot.
