How to get to Chuy

Chuy is located on the border between Uruguay and Brazil, so its access is possible from both countries.

From Uruguay, Chuy can be reached by road, taking National Route 9 that connects Montevideo with the city of Chuy. It can also be reached from other departments of the country, taking National Route 26 that connects with National Route 9.

From Brazil, Chuy can be reached by taking BR-471, which connects to the Brazilian city of Pelotas, and then taking BR-116, which leads directly to the border with Uruguay.

Once in Chuy, you can explore the city on foot or in a private vehicle.
