How to get to Cardona

To get to Cardona from Montevideo, you can take National Route 1 to the city of Cardona, which is located about 140 km west of the capital.

It can also be reached from other nearby cities, such as Mercedes or Fray Bentos, taking national routes 2 and 21 respectively.

Another option is to take the tourist train "El histórico" from Montevideo to the Cardona station, enjoying a trip through the Uruguayan countryside
